Making Music Praying Twice

Making Music Praying Twice

“He who sings, prays twice.”

ST. AUGUSTINE
as quoted in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1156

Making Music Praying Twice is a parent/child small group music education class. A teacher leads parents and children in music and movement activities (singing, dancing, and very simple instrument play) which promotes the growth of music aptitude in children ages 0-5. Faithful songs sensitive to the Liturgical Year are interwoven into a complete curriculum. Classes are approximately 45 minutes long and parents, grandparents or caregivers are welcome to stay an additional 30 minutes for community time while the children play. Making Music Praying Twice meets weekly and currently offers Fall, Advent/Christmas and a Lent/Easter programs (session run 6-12 weeks) Classes are held in the Holy Innocence Building.
