St. Rose Choir, St. Rose Contemporary Choir, Youth Group Band
Just as the priest celebrates the Mass, so does the choir sing the Mass. The choir of St. Rose of Lima is a musical ministry that sings praise to God and brings the joy of Sacred music to parishioners.
The choir sings arrangements of hymns, psalms, chants and anthems designed to embellish the celebration whether it be the weekly 9:30am Sunday Mass or special events such as religious holidays, sacraments and concerts.
The choir greatly enjoys their musical role in the celebration of Christ and the continuous fellowship among its members.
Rehearsals: Thursdays 7:00pm to 8:40pm, in the St. Rose choir loft
Our contemporary choir leads the congregation at the 11:30AM Sunday Mass every other week in songs of praise and worship using contemporary liturgical music. We strive to worship, not perform.
We're a small but prayerful group, always open to new members who would like to use their voices or instrumental talents to enrich the worship of others. If you feel closest to God when you're singing or playing an instrument, join us in the choir loft. We would love to have you.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays preceding our Sunday mass from 7:00 – 8:30PM in the St. Rose choir loft.
This is a contemporary praise and worship ministry that serves during youth group holy hours as needed and scheduled.
